Fernando Suarez

MD, FAAP

Dr. Suarez is a board-certified pediatrician and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed pediatric residency training at Orlando Health’s Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.

In 2014, Dr. Suarez moved to New York where he completed a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at NYU Langone’s Stephen D Hassenfeld Children’s Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. He worked as a pediatric oncologist for a year, but eventually decided to return to primary care pediatrics in 2020.

Dr. Suarez joined Comprehensive Pediatrics in 2021.

He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
